The rising star has impressive online following
The young golfer will have multiple well-known cheerleaders as she starts her LPGA debut later this week.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates several international courses and often plays against Kai.
"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she revealed.
The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"He essentially suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she continued.
"To me, he's just an ordinary family member. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, making him rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions this year and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
Yet she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.
"He stands as the greatest golfer worldwide," Kai stated.
"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to go out there, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."
She'll challenge several most prominent players in the sport at this tournament, featuring second-ranked the champion, British Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
Tournament organizers mentioned that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, especially among younger fans.
The young star boasts millions of followers and has started an exclusive clothing and lifestyle brand.
The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
